Is MaxiBlocks compatible with Bricks builder?
MaxiBlocks is built on the Gutenberg editor, which is part of the WordPress core. Bricks, on the other hand, uses its own proprietary editor. As a result, MaxiBlocks is not directly compatible with Bricks at this time.
⚠️ Important: Please check the Bricks website and documentation for the most up-to-date information on compatibility with MaxiBlocks, as this may have changed since the writing of this article.
📝 Note: While you may be able to use both plugins on the same WordPress site, blocks and designs from one editor would not transfer to the other.
If you primarily use Bricks for your site building, we recommend exploring block and element libraries designed specifically for the Bricks ecosystem. There are several great options available that can extend the functionality of Bricks.
However, if you're open to using the Gutenberg editor, MaxiBlocks could be a fantastic choice:
- All our blocks and features are free. Our powerful foundation blocks can create complex designs without needing a huge library of niche blocks, making MaxiBlocks easier to learn and maintain.
- Our blocks are highly customizable and packed with functionality. We give you access to the full capabilities of each block from the start, rather than providing feature-limited versions to upsell you.
- MaxiBlocks introduces innovative features like Style Cards, which allow you to instantly change the look and feel of your design across multiple elements with a single click. This level of deep integration and customization is unmatched.
- Our business model is different. We generate revenue by selling Pro templates that save significant design time. The core MaxiBlocks builder and all its features remain free.
