What is Dynamic Content and how to use it

What is Dynamic Content?

If you add a Text Maxi block and add type in some text, it will display exactly what you wrote. That would be a static content.

But let's say you want to display the latest blog post from your site, and that information should change when a new blog post is added. That would be an example of dynamic content.

How to use Dynamic Content?

Dynamic Content can be enabled for Text Maxi and Image MaxiBlocks.

Let's insert a Text Maxi block

From the toolbar enable Dynamic Content

From the type dropdown select what you would like to display - such as posts

Relation allows you to choose how would you like to display the posts, whether by ID, a random one, or what you will use in most cases, by date. Additionally, you can choose to display them in ascending or descending order.

Accumulator allows you to skip a given number of posts

Finally, from the field dropdown select what would you like to show. If you select posts in the type option, you can now choose to show post title, post meta or post content for example.
