How to invite team members to your MaxiBlocks Pro library account [Legacy]
Important Notice: MaxiBlocks Pro is now MaxiBlocks Cloud
We've made two changes:
- New name: "MaxiBlocks Pro" is now "MaxiBlocks Cloud"
- New licensing: We've switched from user seat accounts to domain-based license keys
If you have an existing Pro account: Everything continues working as before. Your access remains unchanged. You can keep using your account-based system or contact us to convert to domain licenses.
All new purchases: Use domain-based license keys. Activate once per site. All admins on that WordPress site gets access. No individual logins needed.
Understanding pro library access
Accessing the pro library involves interaction between your site, our servers, your browser, and our authentication system. Identifying where the login issue lies is crucial for a quick resolution.
It could be;
- On your website; a plugin conflict, unusual WordPress settings etc
- With your server or hosting service; firewall, settings, outdated software etc
- In your browser or device; antivirus, anti-tracker, ad blocker, firewall etc
- Something on our side

Once the MaxiBlocks plugin is installed and activated:
- Navigate to pro templates: In your WordPress admin area, open or create a new page or post.
- Click the MaxiBlocks icon to open the master toolbar. Click "Template Library" then locate the email sign in field in top-right for pro templates. See video below.
- Sign in for verification: Sign in using your my.maxiblocks.com pro access account credentials. This one-time verification ensures secure access to pro templates.
- Access pro templates: Post-verification, you can access and insert pro templates as needed.

Part 1: Checking your site
Step 1: Verify you are able to login to my.maxiblocks.com
First, ensure you can log in at https://my.maxiblocks.com/login.
- If login fails, it might be an issue with your credentials
- Check your email spelling
- Check your password is correct.
- You may need to reset your password to test. Also check email spam box for the reset email.
If you still can't login, contact support.
Successful login here indicates you have access to Pro templates - move to next step.
Step 2: Template cloud verification
Quickly test if you have access
- Since you are signed in to Pro already, use the same browser to login to your WordPress site's admin dashboard.
- First ensure MaxiBlocks plugin activated and updated. Go the to plugins screen to verify.
- Next open a page or create a new page to test if you can insert pro templates.
- In the page editor (editing experience), click the MaxiBlocks icon to open the master toolbar.
- Click "Template library" - look top right to see if you are signed in.
- If you are signed in - Try to insert a pro template. All should work as expected.
Part 2: Identifying server or host issues
Step 3: Check for cloudflare blocking
If your site uses cloudflare, it might mistakenly block legitimate login attempts. Check your cloudflare settings for any security rules that could be causing this.
Step 4: Site health analysis
Examine your website's site health, focusing on rest api issues. Problems here could suggest server or host-related issues. Copy the site health info and send it to us for troubleshooting (this can be very helpful)
Step 5: Plugin interference check
Disable any security, geo block, or anti-spam plugins temporarily. These can sometimes interfere with login processes.
Part 3: Browser and device checks
Step 6: Delete any stale my.maxiblocks.com browser cookies
- Open this page in the same browser you are using to access the Pro Library: https://my.maxiblocks.com/login
Follow the steps in the screenshot below to delete any old or stale my.maxiblocks cookies:
- The process may look slightly different depending on your browser, but the same general steps apply.
- Adapt these instructions to your specific browser.

Step 7: Incognito mode test
Sign in using incognito mode to rule out problems with browser extensions or cached data.
If you can sign in on Incognito and insert pro patterns succefully then you need to clear your normal browser cookies and caches up to and including the first day that you tried to sign in to MaxiBlocks Pro for the first time. See Step 6 above.
Step 8: Firewall, antivirus, ad blocker checks
Products like avg antivirus, norton, mcafee, windows firewall or ad blockers might block access to our sites. Temporarily disable them or better add maxiblocks.com to their safelists.
Adding the domain maxiblocks.com to your safe list
To effectively manage third-party cookies and ensure smooth browsing experience on trusted sites like "maxiblocks.com," you can utilize a variety of browser settings, extensions, and software tools. Below is a detailed guide on how to configure these settings and tools for optimal privacy and functionality.
What's with the authentication cookie? The sole purpose of the MaxiBlocks cookie placed in your browser is to authenticate you, and to let the template library service know you are authorised to access pro templates. That's it. Nothing more.
Updated browser settings for blocking third-party cookies
1. Google Chrome (Version 120 and above)
- Navigate to Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
- Select "Block third-party cookies."
- Under "Sites that can always use cookies," click "Add" and enter "[*.]maxiblocks.com" for exceptions.
2. Mozilla Firefox
- Access Options > Privacy & Security.
- Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, select "Custom," check "Cookies," and choose "All third-party cookies."
- For exceptions, go to "Exceptions," add "maxiblocks.com" and select "Allow."
3. Microsoft Edge
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking prevention.
- edge://settings/privacy/trackingPreventionExceptions
- To whitelist, under "Exceptions," click "Add a site" and enter "maxiblocks.com"
4. Safari
- Navigate to Safari > Preferences > Privacy.
- Check “Block all cookies.”
- For exceptions, visit the site, then adjust cookie settings via "Safari" > "Settings for This Website."
5. Opera
- Open Settings > Advanced > Privacy & security > Site Settings > Cookies and site data.
- Activate "Block third-party cookies."
- To allow exceptions, under "Allow," add "maxiblocks.com"
Updated browser extensions for enhanced cookie management
1. uBlock Origin (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
- Comprehensive ad and tracker blocking.
- Whitelist specific sites directly from the extension panel.

Anti-tracking software and exception management
1. AVG AntiTrack
- Stops tracking attempts and hides digital fingerprints.
- Add "maxiblocks.com" to the 'Whitelist' or 'Exceptions' in settings.
2. Avast AntiTrack
- Disguises digital identity and blocks tracking attempts.
- Manage whitelist or exceptions in settings for "maxiblocks.com"
3. Ghostery Standalone Application
- Comprehensive anti-tracking beyond browser extension.
- Add "maxiblocks.com" to whitelist in control panel.
4. Privacy Badger by EFF
- Blocks invisible trackers automatically.
- Disable for "maxiblocks.com" via browser extension’s interface.
Ad blockers and adding exceptions
1. uBlock Origin
- Disable for current site to add exception for "maxiblocks.com"
2. AdBlock
- Select "Don't run on pages on this domain" and then "Exclude" for "maxiblocks.com"
3. AdBlock Plus
- Click "Enabled on this site" to toggle to "Disabled on this site" for "maxiblocks.com"
4. Ghostery (as Ad Blocker)
- Slide the switch to trust "maxiblocks.com" and disable blocking.

2. Enter your team member's email and click "Send Invite".
3. Once they accept the invite, they can create their own MaxiBlocks account (as part of your team) and access the Pro library using one of your available seats.
Getting started with MaxiBlocks
To start using MaxiBlocks together:
1. Have your team member install the free MaxiBlocks plugin on any WordPress website with good quality hosting suitable for WordPress.
2. They can also build locally without a hosting account using a free tool like LocalWP.
3. After logging in to their new account, they can access the Pro library following these steps.
Login tips:
If they experience any issues accessing the library, please have them double-check the troubleshooting tips from the welcome email, especially:
- VPN blocking cookies
- Ad blockers or anti-tracking software
- Firewall or antivirus settings
