Build your first page

Are you looking to create a new page for your WordPress website? No problem, it's a straightforward process! First, log in to your administrator dashboard.

Next, navigate to the "Pages" section on the sidebar. Click on it, and you'll discover a button labelled "Add New". Select it, and you'll be taken to the page editor.

At this point, you can customise your new page to your liking. You can add images, text, videos and much more. Additionally, you have the option to choose from various patterns, depending on the type of content you wish to showcase.

Unleash your inner designer: adding blocks on WordPress

Once inside the WordPress page editor. It's kind of like a blank canvas waiting for your creative touch. Observe the toolbar above your page and note the little plus sign. Click on it, and the block library will open up.

The block library is where all the magic happens. It's a treasure trove of different blocks that you can utilise to create your ideal page. From paragraphs and headings to images and videos, you have everything at your disposal.

Once you've located the desired block, click it to add it to the page. It's that simple! Now, you can personalise your block by playing with the settings, or just continue adding more blocks and come to their design later.

Access the patterns by toggling the Maxi toolbar

Back to the toolbar; see that little icon that looks like a Maxi logo? That's the "master toolbar" button. Give it a click and you'll open up the template library.

Here is where you'll discover all the fantastic pre-designed layouts that can elevate your page's visual appeal. You can choose from a vast array of patterns such as "hero", "testimonial", or "footers". By clicking on the desired pattern, it will instantly be loaded onto your page.

Style cards

Style cards are a feature that enables you to apply a set of global styles to all pages of your website. This allows you to achieve a uniform and professional appearance across your website without having to manually modify each page individually.

You have the option to choose from a number of pre-made style cards that you can customise to your liking, or you can create your very own style cards from scratch.

If you select a new style card from the library, don't forget to activate it by clicking the "activate now" button.

Saving changes

When you're all done, make sure to save your changes and hit that "Publish" button.
